Chefs Call Proposed New York Salt Ban ‘Absurd’

Well, it’s starting!  Chefs Call Proposed New York Salt Ban ‘Absurd’.

The pending health care legislation is not about health care, it’s about control.  It will allow government intrusion in every facet in our lives.  It’s the culmination what progressives have been trying to accomplish for decades.  That’s the reason why President Obama is so focused on ramming this monstrosity through even though this country have problems far more pressing than health care.  Rather than revamp a system in its entirety that 85% of the population is satisfied with, we need to focus on reform by taking a piece meal approach by putting our attention on tort reform and interstate availability of coverage.  In spite of the fact that most legislators do not want to bite the hand that feeds them in that they are mostly comprised of attorneys, tort reform is desperately needed to get the legal system out of our health care system, thereby reducing costs drastically.  Let the market forces work by increasing the available choices of coverage state by state.  There are other solutions but by focusing on these two action items alone, billions can be saved.  And it wouldn’t cost a dime.  The voices of the silent majority are finally shouting loudly and must keep up the fight.  I don’t think think that there is a single instance where a government program hasn’t ending up costing much more than was promised and delivering less.   The fact that Obama will not take this approach, in my opinion, betrays his true intentions.  There’s no doubt that it’s his intention is  to redistribute the country’s wealth to the population with its hand out that is not contributing to America but only looks to take the Golden Egg.  This thing that they trying to pass will drastically change life in America.  The America we’ve known will be altered forever.
