Political Correctness

An annual contest is held each year at Texas A&M University calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term. This year’s term was: “Political Correctness.”The winner was a student who wrote:“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of by the clean end.”

Bin Laden’s “Mansion” – Pakistan, you have lots of ‘splaining to do

For those interested, this is a Google Earth view of Bin Laden’s house. One really has to question our so called friends, the Pakistani’s, since this animal was living here for the last 6 years. I’ll never be convinced that they were not harboring him. The press is already on the path of “mass distortion” by giving this dump mansion status and claiming the place to be “8 times larger” than any other home in the neighborhood. As you can see that’s untrue.

AP’s shameless eligibility cover-up

Back in the glory days of the American free press, reporters and editors prided themselves on holding the powerful accountable.

We called it “afflicting the comfortable and comforting the afflicted.”

We knew the central role of a free press in a free society is to serve as a watchdog on government and other powerful institutions.

Today, for the most part, America has a controlled press – one more suited to making excuses for the powerful, parroting the party line, demeaning efforts to hold officials accountable for their actions and serving as little more than propaganda agents for their favorite politicians.

9th Circuit will hear eligibility arguments

Only days after the White House released a copy of Barack Obama’s “Certificate of Live Birth” from Hawaii, claiming to have put to rest the dispute over his eligibility to hold the office, attorneys will argue on Monday before the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that the requirements of the U.S. Constitution simply are too important to ignore for the sake of political expediency, even when they involve a sitting president.

The case has been pending since the 2008 election. The plaintiffs alleged that Obama’s qualifications were not checked properly, and that has resulted in a violation of the U.S. Constitution, a man occupying the Oval Office who does not meet the requirements that only a “natural born Citizen” can hold the office.

California attorney Orly Taitz told WND today that her hope is for a decision that will return the case to the district court for proceedings, which could include a discovery process through which a large number of Obama’s life documents could be obtained.

Another set of plaintiffs is being represented by Attorney Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation.
